Liverpool Transfer News: Mamadou Sakho Eyed by 3 Clubs, Latest Reds Rumours
AC Milan, Inter Milan and West Bromwich Albion could reportedly be set to battle each other to sign Liverpool centre-back Mamadou Sakho, who has not featured for the Reds' senior team since April.
The French defender has been frozen out of the Liverpool squad by manager Jurgen Klopp and may now be open to a move to the Baggies, having rejected a potential loan switch to the Hawthorns in the summer, per the Mirror.
The report added that Albion retain their interest in signing Sakho, 26, but they face a battle with the two Milan clubs, who are interested in taking the defender on loan.

Previous reports have indicated that Sakho is "privately disgusted by his treatment at the club," and his Liverpool career seems to be nearing its end, per Le Parisien (via the Daily Star's Rhys Turrell).

It would be a big surprise were he to still be at Anfield next season, and it seems more and more likely he will depart in January.
Sakho has been embroiled in a number of controversies in the past year, including a UEFA doping suspension and being sent home from the Liverpool's pre-season tour of the United States.
He has dropped dramatically down Liverpool's defensive pecking order, not least because Klopp added two new centre-backs to his squad in the summer in the shape of Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan.
Having been a key part of the Liverpool side last season—playing in 22 league matches and 10 in the UEFA Europa League—Sakho has now been forced into playing for the Reds' under-23 side in order to maintain his fitness.
He is still a player of significant quality, though, and given his experience with Liverpool and as a regular France international, it is little surprise there are a number of clubs hoping to snap him up.
Given the higher profile of AC and Inter, Sakho may prefer a potential move to one of the Serie A giants over a switch to West Brom, who currently lie ninth in the Premier League.
However, Baggies manager Tony Pulis could potentially present Sakho with a persuasive offer if he guarantees him regular first-team action.
