Ausbon is the 55th-ranked prospect in the class of 2017 and the No. 8 wide receiver in the country, according to Scout's rankings.

A high school senior at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, Ausbon is already built like an NFL receiver at 6'3", 217 pounds, which he uses to his advantage on the outside.

His size and strength make him almost impossible to handle downfield, as he can power his way through and over coverage:

Ausbon had committed to LSU in June with Texas A&M as a No. 2 option, according to Ross Dellenger of the Advocate. The receiver has roots in Texas thanks to his stint at St. Thomas, a private school in Houston that is less than 100 miles away from the A&M campus. He attended the school before transferring to IMG Academy.

He is the third wide receiver prospect in the class of 2017 to commit to Texas A&M and is by far the best, per Scout

Hezekiah Jones is ranked 175th in the nation by Scout, while Camron Buckley is 290th. Both of them are 4-star recruits.

Ausbon could be a welcomed addition to the Aggies' passing game, which is ranked 53rd in the nation with 247.5 yards per game.

With senior and leading receiver Josh Reynolds' departure from the program drawing closer, Ausbon's presence alongside Christian Kirk could create a solid pass-catching duo come 2017.
