Josh Smith Shoots 18 Three-Pointers in China Basketball Association Game
Andrew Gould
Nov 19, 2016No matter how poorly he shot from behind the arc during his NBA career, Josh Smith kept trying to master his three-point stroke. Now playing in the China Basketball Association, he has taken his aggressiveness to another level.
On Wednesday, the forward attempted 18 three-pointers in a single game for the Sichuan Blue Whales. He made seven, which is impressive given his career 28.5 three-point percentage accrued in a dozen NBA seasons.
Smith finished with 41 points, 19 rebounds and five blocks in a 100-93 loss to the Guangdong Southern Tigers, who are led by former NBA big man Yi Jianlian.
