Washington Wizards' Markieff Morris Air-Balls Open 3-Pointer

Zac WassinkNov 17, 2016

The Washington Wizards defeated the New York Knicks, 119-112, at home Thursday, but it's a win Washington forward Markieff Morris may not want to remember for long.

Washington held a commanding 22-point lead halfway through the fourth quarter when Morris received the ball at the top of the key.

He waited, waited and waited some more before taking a dribble and firing a three-pointer that missed the rim, backboard and everything else. To his credit, Morris had a laugh about the air ball, and he even egged on the fans to let him have it as he walked down the opposite end of the court.
