Cam Newton Wears Fox-Tail Cleats During Pregame Warm-Ups

Sitting dead last in the NFC South isn't preventing Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton from continuing to make fashion statements on and off the field. 

Newton rocked cleats that featured fox tails during warm-ups before Thursday's game against the New Orleans Saints. The reigning NFL MVP and his teammates have had a rocky season, but a win over the Saints would put Carolina at 4-6 and hoist the defending conference champions back into the playoff race. 

You may remember when, according to TMZ Sports, Newton reportedly spent roughly $12,000 on fox tails in 2015. He apparently still believes they are good luck.

We'll see if they benefit him Thursday.
