Russell Westbrook Dunks All over Clint Capela
Zac WassinkNov 16, 2016
Russell Westbrook put quite the exclamation point on the Oklahoma City Thunder's 105-103 win over the Houston Rockets at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Wednesday night.
The Thunder led, 103-100, with seven seconds remaining in the contest when Westbrook broke free of a defender and accepted an inbounds pass inside of the arc. Rather than attempt to run seconds off the clock before being fouled, Westbrook dribbled toward the basket and then unleashed a left-handed dunk over Houston's Clint Capela, who could do nothing to stop the oncoming early-season MVP candidate.
Eric Gordon drained a three-pointer as time expired, but that shot couldn't save the Rockets or Capela's pride.
