Jets Run Hook-and-Ladder to Perfection, Score TD vs. Rams
Kyle NewportNov 14, 2016
There was only one touchdown scored in Sunday's game between the Los Angeles Rams and the New York Jets, but what a touchdown it was.
On 3rd-and-goal from the 4-yard line early in the second quarter, the Jets broke into their bag of tricks. Bryce Petty hit Brandon Marshall with a short pass, and Marshall tossed a brilliant lateral to Bilal Powell. All the running back had to do was hit the edge to find a path to the end zone.
Because this game was an offensive struggle, New York missed the ensuing extra point. Even though they had the game's lone touchdown, the Jets fell to 3-7 on the season with a 9-6 loss.
