Penn State burned Indiana deep downfield throughout the teams' Week 11 encounter. On one play early in the fourth quarter, the Nittany Lions used an extra wrinkle to catch the Hoosiers off guard.
Down by three, No. 10 Penn State dialed up a flea-flicker that resulted in a 54-yard pass from Trace McSorley to DaeSean Hamilton. Two plays later, Saquon Barkley punched in a four-yard touchdown run to help the Nittany Lions gain a 28-24 lead.
Penn State avoided an upset by scoring 24 fourth-quarter points to win 45-31.
