Giants Need Pugh Healthy for Playoff Push
The 26-year-old is a 2013 first-round pick out of Syracuse, and prior to the injury, he had started all but seven games in his four seasons with Big Blue.
Second-year man Bobby Hart, who is a swing lineman, fills the void while Pugh is unable to play.
The 2015 seventh-round pick out of Florida State already has chemistry with the rest of the line, but losing a player of Pugh's caliber hurts the unit.
New York has struggled to run the ball this season, and there is added pressure on left tackle Ereck Flowers to ensure that quarterback Eli Manning doesn't have to contend constantly with a blindside pass rush during Pugh's absence.
