Munnerlyn Has Been Consistent Force in Vikings Secondary

Missing games is rare for the South Carolina product. He had sat out just three regular-season contests since the Carolina Panthers selected him in the seventh round of the 2009 draft prior to this latest injury. And none of those absences have come since the start of the 2012 campaign.

Munnerlyn has registered 32 combined tackles and two passes defended through eight appearances so far in the current campaign. His strong play alongside Xavier Rhodes and Terence Newman is a key reason why Minnesota ranks sixth in passing yards allowed per game.
