
Manchester City Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Andre Silva and Gabriel Jesus
Manchester City have reportedly made their interest in FC Porto striker Andre Silva known after the Premier League giants sent scouts to watch the player. Meanwhile, Gabriel Jesus turned down a more lucrative deal from Manchester United to join the Citizens.
Lucas Sposito of Sport Witness cited a report from Portuguese newspaper A Bola, which asserted City manager Pep Guardiola was interested in the striker, adding his side would have no problem financing the deal.
According to the report, Silva's release clause is valued at €60 million (£51.6 million).

Silva, 21, has drawn a wealth of positive attention this season, however, largely down to his improving scoring record, which has seen him bag 10 goals in 17 games, with WhoScored.com pointing to his fine form of late:
The youngster has also started to take more influential steps as part of the Portugal setup and now boasts a record of four goals in as many appearances for the national team.

Elsewhere, James Robson of the Manchester Evening News reported Gabriel Jesus turned down the offer of a "bigger personal package" at Old Trafford in order to link up with Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.
The 19-year-old has been tipped as one of Brazil's future superstars and will officially join City from Palmeiras in January 2017. Gabriel was part of the Brazil team that defeated Argentina 3-0 on Thursday, and broadcaster TyC Sports posted footage of the superb assist he recorded to set up Neymar in that triumph:
Judging by the amount of hype surrounding the Brazilian, City have secured the talents of a starlet who could go on to become a force of nature in the Premier League, with his journey set to begin in the new year.
