Luke Walton Takes Charge While Playing Defense in Lakers Practice

Luke Walton is leading the Los Angeles Lakers by example, teaching his young players the value of flopping.

During a recent practice, the 36-year-old head coach held his own against the team's big men. Getting a tad carried away with his defensive assignment, the former forward took a charge.

He probably didn't receive the foul call.

Whatever he is teaching them is working, as the Lakers have surprised NBA fans with a solid 4-4 start. They didn't earn their fourth victory last year until Dec. 15.
