Maurkice Pouncey Injury: Updates on Steelers C's Recovery from Thumb Surgery

Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey underwent surgery to repair the dislocated thumb he suffered in Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens. However, he is ready to return.

With the Steelers looking to snap a three-game losing streak Sunday, having Pouncey available will be of the utmost importance. 

The Steelers have done a terrific job protecting the quarterback all season long, and Pouncey has been a major reason why. To date, Pittsburgh has allowed 13 sacks—two more than the league-leading Cowboys, Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins.
