WWE SmackDown: Potential Spoilers, Rumors, News and Preview for Nov. 8
An impatient, hungry Alexa Bliss will finally get her chance at the crown on Tuesday's WWE SmackDown.
Glasgow, Scotland, will host a match originally scheduled for No Mercy and delayed due to Becky Lynch's undisclosed health issues. The SmackDown Women's Championship will be up for grabs when Bliss challenges Lynch.

Win or lose, Bliss will have to team up with The Irish Lass Kicker on the Nov. 20 Survivor Series pay-per-view.
The three traditional elimination matches set for the PPV are sure to be a major focus of Tuesday's show. The blue brand has yet to name the final duo who will represent it in the 10-on-10 tag team match. And tension between all the Survivor Series teammates is bound to boil over.
Due to the time difference between Europe and the U.S., the show will be taped. Spoilers will pop up on the internet beginning in the late afternoon.
Before that, social media buzz, backstage news and storyline analysis offer a look at what to expect. SmackDown will air on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network.
News, Potential Spoilers
Eva Marie will remain out of the SmackDown spotlight.
After wrapping up one movie, she's apparently in the middle of shooting another. She tweeted the following update:
Tuesday's show, however, could feature the return of Kalisto. The King of Flight has recovered from a back injury and, according to the Internet Wrestling Database, has been wrestling at house shows for the past few weeks, including appearances in Europe over the weekend and on Monday.
Thus, it looks as if Kalisto will be available for Tuesday's SmackDown. It's not clear if WWE will find a spot for him, though. He's been a healthy scratch for several times in a row now.
The Spirit Squad may be sticking around longer than expected.
According to PWInsider Elite (h/t Marc Middleton of Wrestling Inc), there has been discussion about giving the team another opportunity after its angle with The Miz is done. The male cheerleaders returned to WWE ahead of No Mercy and have since remained The Miz's lackeys.
SmackDown Streaks
Heading into her title bout on Tuesday, Bliss will be red hot.
Last week, she and Carmella teamed up to take down Lynch and Nikki Bella. That marked her third straight win on SmackDown, per CageMatch.net. And the No. 1 contender is 6-1 in her last seven TV bouts.
That doesn't mean she's bound to dethrone Lynch, but she is in the midst of a push.
The opposite is true for Kane. The veteran has been relegated to a stepping-stone role.
The Devil's Favorite Demon dropped a No Disqualification match to Randy Orton last week. As seen on CageMatch.net, that was his third SmackDown loss in a row.
If he gets any ring time in Scotland, it will likely be as someone's victim, as WWE looks to build up others ahead of Survivor Series.
Survivor Series Build
Raw named the five teams set to battle in the brand-versus-brand 10-on-10 match. SmackDown still has one spot to fill.
Heath Slater and Rhyno, The Hype Bros, The Usos and American Alpha all earned entry into the blue brand's alliance of tag teams. Breezango and The Vaudevillains are likely the ones who will be colliding for the right to join them.
A qualifying match between the two is a good chance at garnering some momentum for one of the teams. Both duos have struggled to get airtime and victories since the brand split. An impressive win, even against a fellow bottom feeder, would help change that to a degree.
Last week, intercontinental champ Dolph Ziggler issued an open challenge to the Raw roster.
On Monday's Raw, Sami Zayn bested Rusev to earn that title match at Survivor Series. That news will certainly interest Ziggler, just as it will anger The Miz.
The Miz is out of the Survivor Series mix. He was not only left off the brand's male Survivor Series team, but now WWE has dashed his hopes for an IC match.
WWE has to find a way to incorporate The Miz. He's been killing it as a megalomaniac who believes he's a Hollywood A-lister.
And one night after Raw's Survivor Series team tried to destroy itself on air, a similar amount of unrest is promised on SmackDown.
Rivals AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose are set to be on the same side. This will follow their latest intense showdown last week, when Ambrose bested the champ to earn the No. 1 contender's spot for the WWE World Championship.
And now a collision for the title is on the horizon, as WWE announced last week that Ambrose will challenge Styles at the Tables, Ladders & Chairs PPV on Dec. 4.
Will The Lunatic Fringe be able to put aside his animosity and championship pursuits for the moment to form as a unit ahead of Survivor Series? That's far from a safe bet.
SmackDown can't, however, just repeat Raw's formula of Survivor Series team members squabbling and then wrestling against each other. Creativity will be key to making Tuesday's show feel fresh, something that's been a hallmark of the show since the brand split.
