Saints RB Mark Ingram Gashes 49ers Defense for 75-Yard TD

After being benched for an early fumble in Week 8,  running back Mark Ingram made sure head coach Sean Payton couldn't keep him on the sideline against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

Though Tim Hightower started ahead of Ingram in San Francisco, the Alabama product gashed the Niners defense for 158 yards on 15 carries, including a 75-yard touchdown run.   

Not a bad day for someone who had eclipsed the 65-yard mark on the ground only once this season—77 yards against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3—prior to Sunday.
