Nassib Has Shown Promise Thus Far in Rookie Season
The defensive end has played in six games this season, starting two, after being selected in the third round of the 2016 draft. He missed a couple of games earlier in the year with a broken hand.
Nassib had seven tackles and 1.5 sacks coming into Sunday and didn't register any sacks against the Cowboys.
Even when he hasn't gotten to the quarterback, he has found a way to make an impact with four pass deflections on the season.
Bleacher Report's Ian Wharton praised Nassib's ability:
The Penn State product led the FBS with 15.5 sacks last season and was among the best with 19.5 tackles for loss, which made him a highly touted prospect heading into the draft.
Although the stats haven't been there this season, the 23-year-old has a bright future ahead of him.
