Russell Westbrook Soars, Blocks Kevin Durant

Zac WassinkNov 3, 2016

Kevin Durant repeatedly got the better of former teammate Russell Westbrook throughout the first half of Thursday's game involving the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder, as the Warriors took a 25-point lead into halftime to the delight of the Oracle Arena audience.

Westbrook earned at least one moment of redemption late in the second quarter, however.

Durant went up for a bucket inside the paint with 2:58 left in the opening half, but Westbrook soared from behind and rejected an unsuspecting Durant.
