Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant Don't Interact Before Tipoff

Fans and television commentators wondered if former teammates Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant would shake hands before the start of Thursday night's Oklahoma City Thunder-Golden State Warriors contest.

What occurred was remarkably unremarkable.

Westbrook and Durant never came close to interacting during the seconds before tipoff. This isn't all that surprising, as Westbrook is known for declining pregame handshakes regardless of the opponent.

We guess Westbrook didn't view the game as a reason to break that tradition.
