Perryman's Return Will Bolster Injury-Ravaged LB Corps
Perryman's return will bolster the team's inside linebacker position, which has seen major losses this season. The Chargers are already without Manti Te'o (torn Achilles) and Nick Dzubnar (torn ACL).
San Diego is left with rookie Joshua Perry and Korey Toomer. It signed Toomer off the Oakland Raiders' practice squad in September.
Perryman entered the league as a second-round pick last year out of Miami (Florida) and notched 73 combined tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble as a rookie. He has 33 combined tackles, one sack and one interception in seven games this season.
