Ohio State Will Wear Uniforms Honoring 1916 Undefeated Team vs. Nebraska

Ohio State will celebrate the 100-year anniversary of its undefeated season by wearing commemorative uniforms Saturday.

The program went 7-0 in 1916, including a 128-0 triumph over Oberlin. A century later, the No. 6 Buckeyes are unlikely to generate as much offense against No. 9 Nebraska, which has relinquished 18.4 points per game.

Hopes of another perfect season were thwarted when Penn State pulled off an upset on Oct. 22. Yet the Buckeyes will still fight for College Football Playoff recognition while honoring their decorated past this weekend.
