Cancer and Sports Part 10 Of Many
Brett Favre did it - game 4 for the Vikings! Jeff watched from his room - alone and did not manage to stay awake throughout the entire great game. I left Favre on my bench (so much for advice - always play Brees). I did not watch the game...I was also alone last night and without Jeff it seemed pointless. That is how cancer effects all family members. Sports is a team event and our QB is on the injured disabled list, we have no back up so the team fell apart. Life is definitely a team sport.
Favre is interesting - his comeback, like Trots, indicate that good guys do get do-overs and Jeff will get a do-over as well. I am looking for signs that of recovery and they are slow to come. A year ago I was looking a Favre and thinking he was through, caput...so I look at him now and fast forward 1 year for Jeff and know that this too shall pass and our QB will be back heading the team.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I am waiting to see if I have any connections to get Jeff to drink and eat. I know if it comes from me (other than he Special K beverage this am) it does not mean as much as from someone he really looks up to (he loves me but as a klutz I have very little pull). If any of my readers are athletes, POLEEEEZE get in touch with me (judy@jjelephant.com) and I will get you his cell. It does not matter if you are a bench warmer - if you can say - Eat, buddy! - you will make a dramatic difference.
Today is a work day. I have been to the hospital and now I am surrounded by memorabilia - including one of the last Green Bay mini helmets signed by Brett Favre. I may have to just keep it and bring it to Jeff's room at the hospital...just to remind him that there are great comebacks and his will be one of them!
