Chris Jericho Must Be Given at Least One More World-Title Run with WWE
The reinvention of Chris Jericho time and time again in WWE over the last couple of decades remains one of the company's biggest success stories. And even now at the age of 45, the veteran Canadian continues to be one of the company's biggest draws.
Few guys in WWE could get themselves over with the use of one word—"it"—or a single prop such as The List of Jericho.
"Jericho deserves to win one more world title.

It's now high time WWE rewarded Jericho with one more world-title run, this time with the WWE Universal Championship.
Raw has struggled against SmackDown in the opening months of the brand split, but Jericho's comedic and entertaining segments, as well as his work inside the ring, are some of the real highlights of WWE in 2016.
And WWE wouldn't be throwing Jericho into a world-title program without any real thought or planning, as the perfect storyline is already there.
His blossoming friendship with Kevin Owens feels like it may have already plateaued, and there have been some confrontations between the two in recent weeks about who is looking after who.
With Hell in a Cell around the corner and Survivor Series shortly after, now could be the time to pull off a swerve and have one turn on the other, launching them into a feud for the Universal Championship.
That involves doing something else with Seth Rollins, who is already in contention for the Universal Championship, but with Triple H almost certain to return at some point and work with Rollins, it opens up the possibility for Owens to have a new challenger.
And who better than Jericho right now?
Owens remains one of WWE's best heels, but with Jericho, there's the possibility for him to turn babyface yet remain egotistical and arrogant. WWE continues to blur the lines between conventional babyface and heel roles in the modern-day world of wrestling, so Jericho working as a tweener would make perfect sense.
Jericho continues to draw laughter and praise from WWE fans for his work each and every week. By rewarding him with another world-title run, it would not only add to his impressive resume in WWE, but more importantly, it would also put one of Raw's most popular stars at the top of the show, where he belongs.
A sign of how over Jericho is can be measured by his backstage interactions with some lower midcard talent. Take Braun Strowman this past Monday—we've heard little from Strowman since he split from The Wyatt Family, but Jericho managed to make a somewhat entertaining segment with him as he went hunting for The List of Jericho.
Sometimes, when demanding a star to be put in the world-title picture, it can be difficult to project a route to the top of the card. Here, it looks relatively simple. Have Owens turn on Jericho, and with Rollins working elsewhere after Hell in a Cell, Jericho would become the obvious challenger for the WWE Universal Championship.
It makes perfect sense.
