League of Legends World Championship Final Odds: SK Telecom T1 vs Samsung Galaxy
To the surprise of nobody, the League of Legends World Championship Finals pits two League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) teams against one another, as SK Telecom T1 takes on Samsung Galaxy.
SKT is a hefty -450 favorite (bet $450 to win $100) at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark to win its third consecutive Summoner's Cup, with Samsung the +300 underdog.
If those lines are too large for your taste, you can get SKT -1.5 matches at -175 and Samsung +1.5 matches at +120. The over/under for number of matches in the series is set at 3.5 (-250/+170).
SKT is coming off one of the greatest best-of-five series in LoL history, as they edged out the ROX Tigers in the semifinals. Overall, SKT is 11-4 in matches during the World Championship, with two of those losses coming to ROX in the semis.
Samsung enters the final red-hot as they have won 10 consecutive matches, though none of those have come against an LCK opponent.
SKT dominated Samsung during the LCK Summer Split, as the reigning champions went 4-0. Midlaner Faker dictated those affairs by posting a 17/6/27 KDA, as the best player on the planet completely overwhelmed Samsung mid Crown who had a 6/15/10 KDA.
Crown has been getting increasingly better as the World Championship has gone on and has arguably been the best midlaner aside from Faker. Crown has the third best KDA ratio in the knockout stages and dominated H2K's Ryu in the semifinals. But we've seen many a midlaner look great until they've faced Faker.
Faker entered the tournament at +800 on the odds to win the MVP award at the tournament, the second best odds behind Smeb of ROX. And though Faker has been his spectacular self, it may be teammate Bang (who entered the World Championship at +1000) who has the lead to win the MVP.
Bang leads the World Championship with an 8.0 KDA ratio, is second in CS per minute and has a 70 percent kill participation.
