Kyle NewportOct 24, 2016
The Detroit Lions held a 10-point lead over Washington near the midway point of the fourth quarter on Sunday, but with a minute to play, they found themselves trailing.
No worries—it took Detroit just 49 seconds to go 75 yards and win the game.
Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford came through in the clutch, connecting with wide receiver Anquan Boldin with 16 seconds remaining for the go-ahead score. Just like that, Detroit answered Washington's late scoring drive with one of its own.
