Oklahoma State's Jordan Sterns Makes Improbable Interception vs. Kansas
Andrew GouldJun 8, 2018
In a play that doubled as a bizarre optical illusion, a huge aerial strike for Kansas somehow ended up in the hands of Oklahoma State safety Jordan Sterns.
Did he use Jedi mind powers to teleport the football away from wide receiver LaQuvionte Gonzalez? The Jayhawks junior seemingly made the catch, but the ball bounced into Sterns' waiting arms for a crucial pick.
The play wiped out what would have been a huge reception for Kansas, which trailed by 11 late in the third quarter. Four plays later, the Cowboys kicked a field goal to extend their lead to 34-20.
They scored 10 unanswered points in the final period to run away with a 44-20 triumph.
