Team News

Per David Wright of the Daily Express, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger confirmed Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey will not be in contention but that Francis Coquelin and Carl Jenkinson could be.

Wenger also revealed Mesut Ozil had come through the international break unscathed:

According to the Swans' official website, Fernando Llorente and Jefferson Montero are doubtful for the clash with respective knee and calf issues, while Nathan Dyer has been ruled out.

Predicted Arsenal Lineup: Petr Cech; Hector Bellerin, Shkodran Mustafi, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal; Granit Xhaka, Santi Cazorla; Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil, Alex Iwobi; Alexis Sanchez.

Predicted Swansea Lineup: Lukasz Fabianski; Angel Rangel, Federico Fernandez, Jordi Amat, Kyle Naughton; Leon Britton, Leroy Fer, Jack Cork, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Wayne Routledge; Borja Baston.

Preview

Bradley will make history on Saturday, becoming the first American to manage in not only the Premier League but in one of Europe's top four leagues.

Sports Illustrated's Grant Wahl believes Bradley will prove to be a shrewd appointment:

The former U.S. national side manager's teams have varied from place to place in terms of style, but it's likely he'll get his Swans team more organised and hardworking in defence than they previously had been.

Per Swansea's official website, he spoke of his plan against the Gunners:

"

We have to make sure that defensively, the distance between our lines is right and our awareness is right. But we also have to go there with confidence when we have the ball.

We have to go to play—to play passes forward. When you go away, you have to have the confidence to have people in front of the ball and play passes that break through the lines and create advantages.

"

Bradley's team will face the most in-form side in the top flight in Arsenal, who are looking for their sixth straight win.

But as revealed by Arsenal stat account Orbinho, Swansea have an impressive record against the Gunners:

Nevertheless, it will be difficult for them to claim three points on Saturday.

After conceding four goals in their opening game of the season, Arsenal have shipped just three since, with the additions of Shkodran Mustafi and Granit Xhaka adding steel to their spine.

They've also been clinical up front, per OptaJoe:

Bradley has had the international break to work with his players, but it's still early days—while there may be evidence of improved defensive organisation on Saturday, shoring up is not a process that happens overnight.

They've not kept a clean sheet since the opening day—it's unlikely they'll keep Arsenal out.
