Manchester United Transfer News: Latest Antoine Griezmann, Nemanja Matic Rumours
Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has once again refused to rule out a future transfer move, alerting Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain. Meanwhile, Italian reports say United manager Jose Mourinho is eyeing a reunion with Blues star Nemanja Matic.
Griezmann has been linked with several clubs for months now but has so far maintained his immediate future will play out with the Rojiblancos. After France's 1-0 win over the Netherlands on Monday, he once again reiterated that stance.
Asked about PSG's interest, he told France 3 (h/t Daily Star's Marc Williams):

"You never know what will happen in the future but for the moment, PSG are not in my plans.
Maybe someday but right now, Atletico Madrid is my team.
I concentrate on Atletico Madrid, I am well at my team and my desire is to win something important at my club.
"
The 25-year-old has been with Atletico since 2014 after leaving his native France for Spain in 2005. Originally a winger, he has mainly played as a centre-forward under manager Diego Simeone and has become one of the world's most prolific finishers.
Per Williams, he has already bagged seven goals in 11 appearances this season, and he's currently La Liga's top scorer, ahead of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
Here's a look at some of his highlights:
Atletico have established themselves as La Liga's third top team, but with Real Madrid and Barcelona firing on all cylinders, silverware has been hard to come by―Griezmann has only won the Supercopa de Espana once since joining the club.
A move abroad could become a tempting proposition if Atletico continue to come up just short―particularly if Simeone were to leave the club. Speaking to Telefoot (h/t Sky Sports' Gerard Brand), Griezmann already confirmed he won't leave the club unless the manager does as well.
Earlier this year, Simeone told Mediaset (h/t ESPN FC's Ben Gladwell) he's determined to return to Inter Milan one day, and there's little doubt just about every top club in the world will be lining up to sign Griezmann when the Argentine does make the move to Italy.
Meanwhile, TransferMarketWeb (h/t Mirror's Liam Corless) reports Mourinho wants to get rid of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin to make room for Chelsea's Matic, a former favourite of his during his time with the Blues.
Matic sparked a new round of speculation when he was spotted in Milan with his agent during the international break, per Gianluca Di Marzio (h/t George Bellshaw of Metro). Per the report, he's been frequently linked with Juventus, who desperately need added depth in the centre of the pitch.

Matic maintains he's not leaving Chelsea, however―he previously told Sky Sports that manager Antonio Conte wants him in his side, saying: "I spoke with the club and we both decided that it was best for the club and for me to stay. ... As I said, I’m very happy to be here. I want to improve my game and I’m sure Conte is the right coach to do that."
The Red Devils have struggled to find a proper defensive partner for Paul Pogba, who is at his best moving forward, and Matic could be a solution. Chelsea would prefer not to sell him to a direct rival, however, and a cheaper foreign option would be a more plausible target.
