Butler Active vs. Texans
Sunday, Oct. 16
Colts owner Jim Irsay announced Butler is ready to play in Week 6 against Houston.
George Bremer of CNHI reported Butler had been upgraded to questionable on Friday. Earlier in the day, head coach Chuck Pagano told reporters that Butler would be out this week, per Mike Chappell of Fox 59.
Butler Gives Colts Reliable Secondary Depth
Butler, who has been with the Colts since 2012, has proved to be durable in recent years. After playing the full 16-game schedule in 2013, he missed just two games each in 2014 and 2015. He has 13 interceptions in his career and provides depth alongside Patrick Robinson and Vontae Davis.
The Colts are facing a struggling Houston aerial attack. The Texans are an abysmal 29th in the NFL in passing yards per game, and quarterback Brock Osweiler has more interceptions (seven) than touchdown throws (six) this season.
