Tyrod Taylor gets paid to line up under center for the Buffalo Bills, but in Week 5, he had a bit of a mental lapse that will live on in blooper reels.
On Sunday, Taylor lined up for a play in shotgun formation. While there was nothing wrong with the formation itself, the quarterback bizarrely lined up behind the left guard rather than the center. Not even Bills running back LeSean McCoy noticed the error.
You can imagine how that snap went.
The football sailed by Taylor, resulting in a loss of 18 yards. He did, however, make up for his blunder two snaps later by picking up a first down with his feet on 3rd-and-19. Further redeeming himself, Taylor capped the drive with a touchdown pass to help his team to a 7-3 lead.
