Referee Gets Speared Below the Waist by Texas A&M Player

Maybe the players on the field shouldn't be the only ones wearing cups on game day.

A referee on the sidelines of Saturday's Tennessee vs. Texas A&M game was speared by Aggies defensive back Justin Evans. The senior hit the referee below the waist with the crown of his helmet.

A complete accident, of course, but it's safe to say the referee will be feeling the effects of that hit tomorrow.
