Sam Darnold Keeps Play Alive, Throws for a Touchdown

It's not often that a quarterback gets a second chance on a play, but that's exactly what happened when USC quarterback Sam Darnold fumbled the handoff to his tailback and scooped up the loose ball.

Recovering the fumble would've been enough, but Darnold kept the play alive and, somehow, found Tyler Petite near the sideline, who managed to find an open lane to the end zone.

It was a great play by Darnold, but I'm sure he never wants to have to do that again.
