Jeremy Lin Air-Balls a Layup in Preseason Game

The Brooklyn Nets hosted the Detroit Pistons for a preseason NBA game Thursday night. Brooklyn point guard Jeremy Lin is probably hoping fans at home were watching football or baseball during one regrettable moment.

Lin appeared to have an easy layup as he drove to the hole in the first half, but the only thing to come close to touching any part of the rim was his right hand. Lin flicked the ball behind him while attempting a finger roll, managing to execute maybe the shortest air ball you'll ever see. 

Don't worry, Brooklyn fans. The season hasn't started yet.
