Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte WWE Women's Title Rematch Must Be in Hell in a Cell
On Monday’s edition of WWE Raw, Sasha Banks won the Raw Women's Championship from Charlotte in a thrilling matchup, and the feud should now continue through the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view later this month.
When Banks fights Charlotte for the women’s title in their rematch on Oct. 30, it should take place inside the Hell in a Cell structure.
There are usually two Hell in a Cell matches at the structure’s namesake events, and the battle between Roman Reigns and Rusev has already been announced. While the likely Universal Championship match between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins deserves to be inside the cell, the women’s division on Raw has the most momentum, and a title rematch would be worthy of the structure.

The female Superstars in WWE have never been given the honor of wrestling inside Hell in a Cell, and the combination of Banks and Charlotte proved throughout their feud that they should be the women to continue making history. Not only have they become the faces of the division, but they have also performed at such a high level in the ring that a match inside the steel structure would be a natural step in traditional WWE storytelling.
This matchup certainly has more heat and anticipation than Reigns vs. Rusev.
With Charlotte devastated by her loss Monday night, it would make sense from a storyline perspective for her to ask Mick Foley for a rematch at the next PPV. Over the coming weeks, the two women can come to blows every chance they have until Raw officials are forced to put the pair inside Hell in a Cell.
Fighting inside the Hell in a Cell has always been viewed as one of the toughest matches in wrestling history, and letting Banks fight Charlotte would instantly add a mystique of toughness to both women. The winner would add the most credibility, proving herself the unquestionable Boss of WWE.
Watching the women’s division main-event Raw was a true testament to the success of the female Superstars of this generation, but Banks and Charlotte deserve more. Their program has been given ample time to grow and should ultimately culminate in one of the most definitive endings possible in wrestling—a clean loss inside Hell in a Cell.
Add in the fact that the Hell in a Cell PPV is a Raw exclusive and needs major excitement to get people to watch, and a war between Banks and Charlotte for the Raw Women's Championship inside the steel structure would be the marquee addition the card needs.
Banks handing Charlotte her first PPV loss inside a Hell in a Cell structure would also make this one of the most unique and anticipated matches of the year. With Raw looking for all the mainstream publicity it can find, this is the ideal opportunity to give the women’s division another huge moment.
