Golf Shot Lands on Man's Backpack at Ryder Cup
Andrew GouldJun 8, 2018
All golf courses are designed with hazards to keep players on their toes. This obstacle, however, was not part of Hazeltine National Golf Club's design.
During Saturday's Ryder Cup action in Minnesota, American rookie Brooks Koepka somehow lodged his shot between the handle and straps of an attendee's backpack.
So...play on?
Adding another layer to the bizarre occurrence, the backpack belongs to the father of a European opponent, per ESPN.com's Jason Sobel:
Koepka could try to replicate this on every ensuing swing of his career, and he wouldn't come close.
