Mets OF Tim Tebow Homers on 1st Pitch He Sees in Instructional League

Tim Tebow's professional baseball career could not have gotten off to a better start.

In his Instructional League debut Wednesday, the New York Mets prospect homered on the first pitch he saw. More impressively, the dinger was of the opposite-field variety.

The pitcher he took yard, John Kilichowski of the St. Louis Cardinals, had some fun with the noteworthy homer:

Tebow's magic apparently translates from the gridiron to the diamond.
