Cardinals' Botched Field-Goal Attempt Results in Bills Touchdown
Kyle NewportJun 4, 2018
Any chance the Arizona Cardinals had of rallying against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday went out the window on an ugly blunder.
Trying to chip into Buffalo's 23-7 lead, Arizona lined up for a 30-yard field-goal attempt with less than three minutes to play in the third quarter. Rather than making it a 13-point game, though, the Cardinals' deficit grew on the play.
A high snap went right through holder Drew Butler's hands, leading to a free-for-all. Eventually, the Bills' Aaron Williams recovered the ball near midfield and took it to the house.
