Because of that, he had to take a seat after playing 27 minutes against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night. Embiid appeared to plead his case with a team doctor, and when he was apparently denied more time on the court for double overtime, he showed his frustration by kicking a chair.
It's been a tough time for the 22-year-old thus far in the NBA, but the Sixers are looking out for their big man's future.
