LSU's Colby Delahoussaye Will Wear Cleats Honoring Sam Foltz and Mike Sadler
LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye will wear cleats honoring Nebraska punter Sam Foltz and former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler, who both died in a July car accident.
Delahoussaye was a passenger in the vehicle during the crash, and he suffered second- and third-degree burns on his legs. He has since returned to LSU's football squad.
To commemorate Foltz and Sadler, his cleats say "Samike," a combination of their first names. They also feature Foltz's No. 27 and Sadler's No. 3.
During its first game of the 2016 season, Nebraska showed respect to Foltz by taking a delay-of-game penalty on fourth down after not sending a punter onto the field. Michigan State honored Sadler by inducting him into the program's Hall of Fame and placing his number on the Spartans helmet at midfield for Saturday's game against Wisconsin.
