SMU Football Honors Fallen Dallas Officers with #DallasStrong Helmet Decal

When the SMU Mustangs host the TCU Horned Frogs Friday night, they'll be playing for more than just a victory in the win column. They'll be playing to honor the five officers who were shot and killed July 7 during a peaceful protest. 

It's a simple yet meaningful gesture by the Mustangs that reinforces the importance of sports in times of need and mourning.

Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas and can be seen live on ESPN.
