Miami Football Unveils Full-Time 'Legends of the U' Uniforms
The Miami Hurricanes unveiled new permanent home and away uniforms for their football program.
Starting Oct. 8, Miami will rock this new look throughout the rest of the 2016 season. After constant turnover, the Hurricanes settled on jerseys resembling their old designs from The U's heyday.

Former cornerback Tolbert Bain, who played for their undefeated squad in 1987, commended the redirect to Susan Miller Degnan of the Miami Herald.
"The U on the helmet says it all. That’s the best symbol in college football. The ones with wings, that’s not our football. We won four national championships with the one with the stripes.
We don’t need to follow trends. We’re Miami. We set trends.
We’re not pretty uniforms. We’re great football players.
"
Miami will debut the simple, yet stylish Adidas uniforms against their rivals, the Florida State Seminoles, at Hard Rock Stadium.
