The Hogs are off to a 3-0 start to this season, 2-1 ATS, after disposing of Texas State last week 42-3. Arkansas led 14-0 after one quarter and 35-0 at the half, then gave the backups some reps and still covered as a 29-point favorite. The Hogs racked up 350 yards of total offense in the first half alone and on the day rushed for 226. Meanwhile, the Arkansas defense held a Bobcats offense that produced 546 yards in their season opener to just 105.
Stretching back to last season, the Razorbacks are now 9-1 straight up and 8-2 ATS over their last 10 games. Arkansas opened this season with a lackluster 21-20 victory over Louisiana Tech but then rallied twice late in the game to upset TCU in Fort Worth 41-38 in double overtime.
Why the Texas A&M Aggies can cover the spread
Texas A&M is 3-0 both SU and ATS after winning at Auburn last week 29-16. The Aggies spotted the Tigers the game's first touchdown, then scored 29 of the next 32 points on their way to the outright victory as one-point underdogs on the road. On the night Texas A&M outgained Auburn 478-399 and didn't commit a turnover.
The Aggies opened this season with that 31-24 overtime victory over UCLA, but that one shouldn't have gone that far; they led the Bruins by 15 points late, before letting UCLA back in the game. Texas A&M then bombed Prairie View 67-0, covering as a seven-touchdown favorite.
