Before Alabama's inconsistent offense showed signs of life Saturday against Ole Miss, things looked bleak for the Crimson Tide.

Rebel defender Marquis Haynes sacked Tide quarterback Jalen Hurts on 2nd-and-7 near midfield at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The freshman signal-caller fumbled, leading to an Ole Miss touchdown and a 24-3 Rebel lead with 2:47 left in the second quarter.

While there may have been questionable refereeing decisions on the play, Alabama rebounded and cut the deficit to 24-17 by halftime.
