B/R Tag Team Tournament Results

After five articles, the final result for the tag team tournament has been revealed. Among 16 teams, only one has made it to the top and will win it all.

Some of you will not agree, some of you will, but the votes speak and this team received the most votes in each match they were involved in.

Before revealing the result, I would like to thank everybody for making this work out. Without your votes, this tournament would have been a big pile of nothing, so thanks to everybody.

The Hardy Boyz fought well, but Edge and Christian earned 15 votes, while Matt and Jeff only got 9. This makes Edge and Christian the winning team of this 16 team tournament.

As all of you may already know, Edge (Adam Copeland) and Christian (Jason Reso) are from Toronto, Canada and have been best friends since childhood.

They began wrestling as a tag team in the independent circuit before making their WWE debut in 1998 as part of The Brood.

Acting more like a gothic and mysterious tag team, Edge and Christian would have rivalries with such teams as The J.O.B. Squad, The Acolytes and The Hardy Boyz.

They even joined The Undertaker's Ministry Of Darkness in 1999 but dropped all of this in 2000 for a more comedic gimmick.

With this new gimmick, they really began to shine. They were good looking, funny, entertaining and most importantly, very good in the ring.

They began feuding with teams like Too Cool, The APA, X-Pac and Road Dog and Test and Albert, but they will be most remembered for their rivalries with The Dudley Boyz and The Hardy Boyz.

The rivalry led these three teams to battle it out in a triangle ladder match and two TLC matches all won by the awesome duo of Edge and Christian. Even superstars like Rhyno and Kurt Angle joined Edge and Christian from time to time.

In 2001, Christian turned his back on Edge to join The Alliance and that put an end to the team of Edge and Christian.

Together, Edge and Christian won match of the year in 2000 for the triangle ladder match and again in 2001 for TLC 2. They won the World Tag Team titles seven times and was names tag team of the year in 2000 by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Still today, a lot of fans would love to see Edge and Christian reunite one more time and dominate the tag team division, but only time will tell if that happens.
