A.J. Hawk Agrees to Contract with Falcons
Former Green Bay Packers and Cincinnati Bengals linebacker A.J. Hawk has found a new home. Hawk's agent, Mike McCartney, announced that the Atlanta Falcons signed Hawk to a contract on Tuesday.
Adam Caplan of ESPN reported that the Falcons had interest in Hawk due to injuries to Sean Weatherspoon, Paul Worrilow, De'Vondre Campbell and Deion Jones.
The Falcons weren't the only team interested in Hawk. On Monday, Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post cited an NFL source who said Miami would work out Hawk.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Hawk entered the league as the fifth overall pick in the 2006 draft after he was a two-time All-American, Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and Lombardi Award winner at Ohio State. He played with the Packers through the 2014 season before joining the Bengals for the 2015 campaign.
He tallied 24 combined tackles and one sack in 16 games for Cincinnati and wasn't the impact player he was for the Packers in his prime. Hawk finished with more than 100 combined tackles in five different seasons and notched 19 sacks over nine years in Green Bay.
He also won a Super Bowl ring during his Packers tenure.
