EA Sports' 'Madden NFL' Trolls NFL Players for Week 1 Fails

While most people around the United States viewed this past weekend as the kickoff to football season, EA Sports saw it as the start of savage season.

The gaming company has no chill.

On Sunday, a couple of NFL players made tough mistakes that cost their teams victories. Those gaffes gave EA Sports a chance to do some trolling while also promoting its Madden NFL game.

EA Sports' first target? Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrance Williams, who failed to get out of bounds after a catch in the final seconds of a 20-19 loss to the New York Giants.

Just a few hours later, Arizona Cardinals kicker Chandler Catanzaro badly missed a potential game-winning field goal (that featured a bad snap and hold) in a 23-21 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. You better believe EA Sports was watching.
