Allen Iverson Likens Meeting Michael Jordan to 'Chappelle's Show' Sketch

From his aura to his sneakers, Allen Iverson was awestruck by all things Michael Jordan in his first matchup with the NBA legend.

"For the first time in my life, a human being didn't look real to me," the former Philadelphia 76ers star described in his Basketball Hall of Fame 2016 speech.

In fact, so reverent was he of No. 23, Iverson believed him to be glowing—an encounter he likened to comedian Dave Chappelle's notable Rick James sketch.

And while Jordan himself didn't similarly proclaim his own name and fame, The Answer did plenty for him.

Staring at the Chicago Bull, Iverson couldn't suppress the starstruck thought: "Man, that's Mike!"
