Denver Cornerback Chris Harris Jr. Tips Ball to Self, Makes Interception

Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. made what is, to date, the best defensive play of the 2016 NFL regular season on Thursday night.

The Broncos were trailing the Carolina Panthers 17-14 early in the fourth quarter when Harris tipped a Cam Newton pass into the air at the Carolina 36-yard line. Harris then reacted quickly enough to get both arms underneath the ball and make the interception.

Denver scored a touchdown and added an extra point on the subsequent drive to take a 21-17 lead with less than 10 minutes to play in Colorado.
