Washington Wizards Unveil New 'Stars and Stripes' Uniforms for 2016-17 Season

The Washington Wizards are not only sticking with the red, white and blue for the upcoming season, they're going all in.

On Thursday, the Wizards unveiled a new set of alternate uniforms to wear during the 2016-17 season. As a nod to the United States, the new threads feature the stars and stripes of the flag along the side.

The team announced it will wear the new alternates a total of six times this upcoming season, debuting them Nov. 11 against the Cleveland Cavaliers:
