Cam Newton Moves on from Tough Super Bowl Loss in New Gatorade Commercial
Kyle NewportSep 8, 2016
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton established himself as one of the game's best last year on his way to winning the NFL MVP award.
While there was no denying just how special he was in the regular season, Newton was ultimately bested 24-10 by the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50. The 27-year-old quarterback received a lot of criticism for (a) not diving for a fumble in the game and (b) walking out on his postgame press conference after sulking the entire time.
The haters have given their takes on the Panthers star throughout the offseason—but now, Newton has the chance to silence his critics.
