Jameis Winston Pumps Up FSU Football Team in Halftime Speech

The Florida State Seminoles entered halftime down 28-13 against Ole Miss on Monday night. In danger of suffering an opening-week upset, they came out of the locker room on fire, scoring 23 unanswered second-half points en route to a 45-34 victory.

As documented by Showtime Sports, whose A Season with Florida State Football premieres on Tuesday night, former FSU quarterback Jameis Winston returned to motivate the team.

Even if his speech didn't completely make sense, he spoke very loudly and passionately. It must have sparked something among the squad.

Winston had a habit of struggling early in college games before engineering late rallies. Freshman Deondre Francois did the same in his debut, finishing with 419 passing yards and two touchdowns with an additional 59 rushing yards.

Now let's see if Winston can talk the Tampa Bay Buccaneers into their first playoff appearance since 2007.
